Adult’s ADHD Assessments

Adult Process 

Step 1-Book a Pre-Assessment 

Sign up on the ADHD Assessment website and schedule an initial appointment. 

The initial assessment occurs online.  

Step 2-Carry Out Pre-Assessment Call (45 minutes) 

Participate in a 45-minute video call with a psychologist. 

This meeting will help gather relevant information and decide on the appropriate diagnostic approach. 

Information Required

  1. Personal history and current symptoms 
  1. Impact of symptoms on daily life and work 

Step 3-Conduct Assessment and Diagnosis (3 hours) 

Attend a consultation, which can be online or in person. 

Details-The assessment includes: 

  1. Clinical Interview 

Get a structured clinical assessment specifically for adult ADHD, based on the latest DSM-V criteria and ASRS and WURS ADHD Scales. 

2. Cognitive Testing 

Evaluation of attention and executive functioning through tests such as the Continuous Performance Test (CPT). 

3. Behavioural Evaluation 

Assessment of behavioural patterns and symptom impact on daily functioning. 

Step 4-Receive Final Report and Support Plan (45 minutes) 

You will then receive the final report and the diagnosis. A further support call is available to talk through the report and findings. 

Information you will receive: 

  • Comprehensive diagnostic report. 
  • Outline of treatment options, including therapy and medication. 
  • Information on government benefits and workplace accommodations.
